This year marked the 10th Anniversary of our Preservation Awards Banquet. We were pleased to honor not only past award winners but also the 2005 individuals, businesses and homeowners who have given countless hours in their efforts to restore and preserve the unique buildings in the historic district of Ocean Grove. Our Society whishes to thank Freeholder Theodore Narozanick, for the years of support and inspiring speeches he has given at our annual awards. We would also like to thank the Starving Artist at Days for their continuing support. Award winners were, Individual Civic Award: Dorothea Holmes, Group Civic Award: Ladies Auxiliary of Auditorium Ushers for the restoration of the Auditorium Pavilion, Centennial Award: the Wood, Hart,& Greer Family, Commercial Award: Sally & Guy Blehl for the Windamer, New Construction Awards: Ruth Jacobsen and the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, Homeowner Awards: Cate Comerford, Kathryn M. Gordon, Joslin & Staffan Kryjcir-Liljas, Mary P. & Mitchell Newmark, Ronald Rudolph & Robert Nieffert, and Michael & Susan Solebello, Special Streetscape Award: Eve Cadmus, Streetscape Awards, Webb Avenue: Marjorie Everitt, John & Barbara Henry, Tom, Lois & Emily Jackson, Michael & Karin Rennie, and Clifford & Barbara Bandstra.
