Ocean Grove became famous for its many hotels and boarding houses where summer guests would stay. The grandest of these was probably the North End Hotel which boasts several restaurants, shops and the Strand Theater.
The amenities in Ocean groves hotel's varied from the simpler, to the more luxurious including private baths, soda bars, and even chapels. The hotel owners depicted these services on their post cards as advertising ploys.

All post cards in the Historical Society Collection have been digitally mastered for presentation and viewing on the web.
