The Historical Society of Ocean Grove presents its Annual Auction of
Antiques and Collectibles on Friday May 23, 2008. The auction fever is building as the HSOG prepares for the event being held in the Youth Temple.
The auction is scheduled to begin at 5 PM, with a preview beginning at
3 PM. There will be a 10% buyer premium and absentee bids are always welcome. An itemized Auction List is available for $3.00. Parking is free and refreshments will be available.
This auction, of over 300 lots,
provides a wide array of quality antiques and collectibles including
Jersey Shore memorabilia from local towns such as Asbury Park, Long
Branch and of course Ocean Grove. Many items are currently on display at the Museum of the Historical Society of Ocean Grove located at 50 Pitman Ave.
