 Mary will over her new book which tells the inspiring story of Alice Paul, whose efforts were crucial in driving the fight for women's rights.  A brilliant mind and shrewd political organizer, Alice Paul accomplished in only ten years what the entire women's movement had failed to do over the course of a century.

Mary Walton was a writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer for over twenty years.  The author of several books including For Love of Money and Car: A Drama of the American Workplace, she lives in Ocean Grove, NJ.


This program will be followed by the Annual Meeting of the Historical Society and will include election of new officers.
