The Historical Society of Ocean Grove is dedicated to education and to a legacy of past tradition which in current practice is preserved that includes the Camp Meeting heritage, the famous people who visited this family seashore resort,  the historic buildings/structures/objects we maintain, and the largest assemblage of authentic 19th century Victorian architecture in the nation.  The HSOG relies on private funding and corporate donations as well as grant funding thorough various historical agencies and corporate and private trust funds to accomplish its goals. The Commission awarded a second grant to the Historical Society in the amount of $3,000 in 2007 for Conservation of Historical Materials and a second grant in the amount of $13,662 in 2008 for Digitization of the Ocean Grove Record.
