Jerusalem ModelAuditorium Pavilion, located at the west end of Ocean Pathway across from the Great Auditorium, once housed a scale model of 1st Century AD Jerusalem. Originally housed in a canvass tent, the present pavilion was constructed to protect the model from the elements, especially during the winter months. An account of the history of the model and the pavilion is given in the 1944 publication Diamond Jubilee History of Ocean Grove

"To the Rev. W. W. Wythe, M.D., a resident of Ocean Grove at the time, we owe the replica of Jerusalem which was built him at a great expenditure of time, research, labor and an actual outlay of about $2,500 in money. he presented the Model to ocean Grove in 1881.

Located on Ocean Pathway near the Auditorium, the Model is, as the name indicates, a miniature representation of the city that threw wide its gates to Jesus Christ on His visits there, showing its configuration of streets, dwellings, mosques, and minarets, walls, gates, water-courses, and surrounding hills – some of the partly wooded – in remarkable detail. The famous valleys of Hinnon and Kedron can be easily seen in the Model. Also the Pool of Siloam, where Jesus told the blind man to wash and though blind form birth he 'came seeing.' The walls of Jerusalem, which in the time of Jesus must have been more impressive than they are today, are also easily discernable. So accurate is the reproduction that scores of travelers that have visited Jerusalem have found delight in identifying its different sections and even individual buildings." - Diamond Jubilee History of Ocean Grove © 1944 The Ocean Grove Times.

Many renowned speakers and lecturers have given presentations at the Model including Jerusalem native the Baroness Madame Lydia Mamreoff von Finkelstein Mountford , who traveled the world in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries acting out various scenes from the Bible. The Model, though unique, required a great deal of maintenance and upkeep which grew ever increasingly expensive. After suffering storm damage in the 1940's, it was decided about 1950 that is was no longer feasible to keep the model in repair and it was subsequently removed. Today the Pavilion is used by the Camp Meeting Association, the Historical Society and various community groups.
