The map below, printed prior to 1890 by E. N. Woolston as an advertisement, is typical of the period. Many companies, businesses, hotels, restaurants and service industries in Ocean Grove printed post cards, maps, calendars and a variety of other media. This is a practice which has not changed to this day.

The map, which is part of the collection housed by the Historical Society of Ocean Grove, has been marked to show the locations of the various historic sites and buildings in the community. Today 48 Main Avenue, which was the home of Woolston Real Estate and Insurance, now houses The Daily Grind and the Savory Cafe.
